TD Park People Grants provide $2000 to groups from Metro Vancouver, Kelowna, Saanich, Township of Langley, Calgary, Edmonton Metropolitan Region, Lethbridge, Winnipeg, Brandon, Regina, Saskatoon, Greater Toronto and Hamilton Areas, Kitchener, Thunder Bay, Waterloo, Guelph, National Capital Region (Ottawa-Gatineau), Greater Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax Regional Municipality, Fredericton and Charlottetown to help build vital connections between people and parks.
We are looking for events promoting environmental education, sustainability, and stewardship in Canada's parks and green spaces.
The 2025 application period runs from Wednesday, January 15th to Monday, February 24th. Submissions are due by February 24th, 2025, at 11:59 pm local time. Grant recipients will be announced by the end of April, and events can occur between the Saturday before Earth Day (April 22nd) and continue until December 2025.
Eligibility:
1. The park your group is working in must be located in Metro Vancouver, Kelowna, Saanich, Township of Langley, Calgary, Edmonton Metropolitan Region, Lethbridge, Winnipeg, Brandon, Regina, Saskatoon, Greater Toronto and Hamilton Areas, Kitchener, Thunder Bay, Waterloo, Guelph, National Capital Region (Ottawa-Gatineau), Greater Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax Regional Municipality, Fredericton and Charlottetown.
2. Your group is committed to hosting two free in-person and/or virtual events in 2025. All events must follow local public health guidelines at the time of the event. See Terms & Conditions in Section F for more info.
3. Your events must support the ongoing care and protection of green spaces
